The Meaning Of Faith
Meaning
Faith means the following:
1. Believe,
to accept what is said as true.
2. The
knowledge of the truth and abiding in the truth. This truth includes the
covenant laws of God.
3. The
believe, acceptance and practice of word of God, by keeping the covenant laws
of God, according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy
Spirit.
4. Remaining
steadfast in keeping the laws of God.
5. Obedience
to the teachings, corrections, messages and warnings from God.
6. Believing
that what God said is true and living according to it.
7. On
many occasions, people assume something to be true when such a thing is not
true, and remain steadfast in the practice of their assumption. Such a faith is
called false belief, assumption or misconception. That is why what many
religions, churches, ministries and fellowships call faith is nothing but
stubbornness, the persistent refusal to do what God has said. Even so today,
many are accepting false teachings and wrong practices, simply because that
what they want or what they have being told. They believe that they shall be
saved just becoming Christians, without keeping the laws of God. This kind of
belief is not faith and it is foolishness based on spiritual blindness,
ignorance and laziness.
8. Faith
is faith only as far as it is based on truth. This truth includes the spiritual
realities of life, of which the teeming world populations of humanity are
ignorant of.
